MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten.
It is a safe, loving environment where moms have the opportunity to
make new friends, share experiences, and laugh together. They learn
Biblical principles pertaining to womanhood, parenting, and marriage.
MOPS also provides opportunities for social outings throughout the year.
Free quality childcare is provided by loving and nurturing volunteers
through the MOPPETS program. These volunteers are carefully selected and
are excited to serve because they share in our passions for encouraging
mothers and caring for their children. The children are divided into
age appropriate classes.
Their teachers help them experience God’s love for them through planned
activities such as games, stories, crafts, music and physical play.
Rowland Springs has very nice childcare facilities, classrooms, and an
outdoor play area. Nursing infants may remain with mom during meetings.
MOPS at
Rowland Springs Baptist Church starts in September and runs through May.
